Regina “Gina” George, MSN, FNP-BC
Women’s Health & Hormone Therapy Specialist

Regina “Gina” George is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with over 25 years of clinical experience, specializing in women’s health, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), and functional hormone optimization. As an ANCC board-certified provider, Gina is trained to diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions across the lifespan, with advanced expertise in women’s health and hormone therapy.

At Hydro Med Spa, Gina focuses on helping women in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and World Golf Village restore hormonal balance, improve energy, and optimize overall health at every stage of life. Her background in family medicine allows her to take a comprehensive, whole-body approach—ensuring that hormone therapy is both safe and aligned with each patient’s overall health profile.

Gina has extensive experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of women’s health concerns, including perimenopause, menopause, low libido, fatigue, weight gain, mood changes, vaginal atrophy, and painful intercourse. She has a history of providing comprehensive care including well-woman exams, pap smears, STD testing and treatment, pelvic pain evaluation, and advanced diagnostic lab testing to identify root causes and guide personalized treatment plans.

Her primary clinical focus is hormone replacement therapy for women, with expertise in bioidentical hormone therapy using pellet therapy, transdermal creams, patches, oral medications, and injectable options. Gina is certified in both BioTE and Evexipel hormone pellet therapy, allowing her to deliver highly individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s symptoms, lab results, and long-term health goals.

Using a functional medicine approach, Gina goes beyond symptom management by addressing underlying hormonal and metabolic imbalances. She has extensive experience in diabetes management and metabolic health, having worked for many years as a diabetes educator with Ascension Health, where she also managed an outpatient diabetes clinic. This background allows her to integrate nutrition, insulin resistance, weight management, and lifestyle optimization into her hormone therapy plans for more comprehensive and sustainable outcomes.

Gina is passionate about helping women feel their best—improving energy, mental clarity, sleep, libido, body composition, and overall quality of life. She emphasizes patient education, evidence-based care, and individualized treatment strategies, ensuring that every patient feels informed, supported, and confident in their care plan.

Outside of the clinic, Gina enjoys spending time with her family, walking on the beach, cooking, traveling, gardening, attending sporting events, and staying active outdoors.
